Did you know “moimoi” is also known as “alele” in the northern communities of Ghana? Same process, same flavor, but in Ghana it is cooked in empty milk cans then steamed till it’s perfectly cooked and moist. Flip the can over and it holds a perfect mold with the rings marks all over the moimoi!
