Do you drink enough water? My family calls me a camel because I usually drink tons of water so I thought I’d share some tips on how to drink more water. Let me know if you’d like more of these kinds of tips
1. Make drinking water exciting. Try squeezing in citrus or adding berries or fresh herbs. You can also drink herbal tea and sparkling water
2. Treat yourself to a fancy water bottle. Having something colorful or pretty around means you’re more likely to reach for it. You can see my office bottle in Stories.
3. Make it fun. Turn it into a game (i.e., I must drink 32 ounces before noon to unlock the secret code of Gryffindor or whatever), download an app that tracks your water intake, or buy a clear bottle and label it with time benchmarks (i.e., 9am, 11am, 1pm, etc.).
4. Create cues. Build a habit of drinking water by connecting it to other routines, so take 5 sips of water every time you go to the bathroom, hop on a phone call, check Instagram or text a friend.
